UX and Product Designer turning complex journeys into clear digital experiences

I’m Vicky Murray, a UX and Product Designer based in Greater Manchester, UK. With a background in graphic design, I use behavioural evidence, journey mapping and visual design to improve complex B2B e-commerce experiences.

Selected work

A selection of projects showing how I turn evidence and complex requirements into clearer digital experiences.

Making a complex B2B Checkout clearer

I redesigned key parts of Flowtech’s Checkout, reviewed the live release and used segmented evidence to identify where new customers were still struggling.

Status:
Live and measured

Designing Flowtech’s first online quoting experience

I mapped a customer-facing quotation journey across product selection, draft quotes, Sales review and Checkout, defining the states, rules and edge cases needed to support a complex B2B process.

Status:
Draft proposal

Reframing a B2B homepage around customer tasks

I used three months of behavioural evidence to reshape a long campaign page around search, product discovery and key e-commerce journeys.

Status:
Approved proposal

What I bring

Evidence-led decisions

I use analytics, session recordings, research and stakeholder knowledge to understand the problem before designing the response.

Clearer complex journeys

I map flows, states, rules and edge cases so that important decisions remain understandable across the complete experience.

Visual clarity

My graphic-design background helps me create strong hierarchy, consistent patterns and polished interfaces without losing sight of how a system needs to work and scale.

About

From graphic design to digital products

My background is in graphic design, where I developed a strong foundation in typography, hierarchy and consistency. Moving into UX and product design allowed me to apply that visual thinking to journeys, systems and interaction design.

I particularly enjoy untangling complex information, understanding the evidence, working through the states and edge cases, and shaping an experience that feels clear to customers and practical for the team delivering it.
